This 60,000 sq. ft. 2 two-story Tenant Improvement project for Workday Inc. is designed around a village concept in which departments and other programmatic elements are defined by a variety of elements. A serpentine path functions as a main square by connecting reception to a main conference room, then to each department activated by an adjacent break room. Floor patterns, ceiling patterns and view corridors vary within the transition of each neighborhood to define the diversity of space. Along with a generous placement of small huddle rooms, employees are finally engaged by a visual play between Workday Inc.’s blue and orange brand colors.
