Platform for Architecture + Research is a group of architects practicing within the fields of architecture and design research. For us, the challenge of design is to develop practical solutions while reflecting strong and innovative conceptual thinking. Our approach, therefore, encourages inquiry and active research as part of the design process.

Founded in 2003, PAR is a full service architecture firm whose members share a collective professional experience that encompasses an array of building types including office, retail, residential, and institutional. With an emphasis on refined materials and detailing, our buildings incorporate green technologies and advanced building science. Current projects in design and construction range from restaurant and hotel projects to offices and multifamily residences. PAR maintains offices in both Los Angeles and New York.
