ZACK/ de VITO ARCHITECTURE established in 1991, is a husband and wife partnership. The office philosophically and aesthetically follows the modernist traditions while working very closely with our clients to satisfy their requirements and desires. We believe that each project is driven equally by the client and the architect, the best projects are products of collaboration. We are interested in the expressive and creative use of materials and structure, and the influence of site, both physical and sociological, on the expression of form and space. Being licensed as both architects and contractors, with experience in the office as well on the job site, gives us a comprehensive view of our projects. While our emphasis is on design our projects are always buildable.

We are architects with years of hands on experience as builders and furniture makers, possessing a broad knowledge of materials, which give our projects a unique and noticeable attention to detail and craft. Our philosophy is to design and make buildings with the attention to detail of furniture, while maintaining the discipline and thoroughness of an architect.
