KOMPLEMENTI

For the description of the design of the apartment in Danzig, the architects have drawn on a quote from the "Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: "One always succumbs to the charm of a mystery, despite the absurdity of the situation". That this quote is well matched to the building works can be seen in the implementation. For small internal spaces, and this apartment abounds in them, are always a challenge for architects. Bringing together all functions without conflict and at the same time still creating added value for the user, demands a good concept with a love of detail.

In the case of the apartment in Danzig, the architects from KOMPLEMENTI have based their design on an open spatial flow, good proportions and a monochrome combination of strong colours. The room plan achieved enables a concentration on a clear separation of functions, but furthermore also conveys spaciousness and cosiness. A continuous furniture wall hides storage and functional requirements that are essential for the usability of a small apartment. Beyond the function, the piece of furniture also accompanies the wall surface along its length and ends in an elegant, open kitchen unit. The marine-blue colour was specifically chosen to provide the interior with elegance and cosiness. For this, the different textures and surfaces set colourful contrasts and additionally provide rhythm and order.

The decorative works of various Polish artists provide the personal touch and are specifically positioned to invite discovery. The products and accessories from the LS 990 switch range contribute to the harmony and underline the selected style of the apartment.
