Built in an 1860’s warehouse in Chelsea, this L-shaped full floor loft combines well-executed space planning and a minimalist décor. The project began with a raw space with a single row of support columns, 12 foot high ceilings and 24 huge windows on four sides with a 360-degree view of the New York skyline including the Empire State Building. The L-shape of the loft is divided according to program, devoting one leg to the master suite, which includes a luxurious bath and an interconnecting dressing gallery to the master bedroom. The other leg of the L contains the public spaces – entrance hall, living area, dining area, kitchen and media center – as well as a gym, two guest rooms and baths, and a library/office.
