David Wick, Architect, LEED AP is principal and lead designer of Wick Architecture and Design located in Los Angeles, California. The firm is committed to commercial and residential sustainable design and construction. David Wick sees his firm’s goal to blend nature with the built environment creating buildings which feel as healthy and holistic as being in a ‘natural space’. Since the inception of the practice in 2006, the firm has designed and completed a multitude of commercial and residential projects including the award winning Gold-Diggers Hotel, a renovation of the Frank’s Camera Building, a ‘Build It Green’ and Energy Star certified home in Sherman Oaks, showrooms for Bisazza, Richard Mille, Hublot, Westime, Joeʼs Jeans and Max Studio, and restaurants / coffee shops including Stereoscope, Loqui, Seabirds, Mexicano, Chipotle, Cava and Groundwork. Additionally Wick has experience with large scale and intimately sized residential new construction, remodels and additions throughout the United States. In over 20 years of professional practice, Wick has actively pursued innovative and common sense green design. David Wick has been LEED certified since 2006 and Build It Green certified since 2008.

Wick received a B.S. from Art Center College of Design in 1994. Wick began his professional career practicing with Eric Moss Architects and Hodgetts+Fung where he worked on the Hollywood Bowl and the award winning Sinclair Pavilion at Art Center and the Hyde Park Library for the City of Los Angeles. Wick was also a partner at Heusch Inc. from 2001 to 2006 overseeing all aspects of the practice including the Bodega Chacra winery in Argentina, Chopard retail stores, Cello restaurant in New York, the 5 story Algodon hotel in Buenos Aires and the Oak Pass residence published in Surface and Elle France.
